... I'm diggin' my way to something better...

Wow, April already. Time does fly. March was a good month overall. I had Spring Break. That was cool, I went down to San Diego with my girlfriend and took a surfing lesson and then spent 3 more days attempting to surf. I say "attempting" because we sucked. We couldn't even stand up - but it was a blast! Definitely my new sport!

I'd like to say that I hope Dave Mustaine feels better and heals well. I think he's come a long way as a person in the last few years, and I'm glad he has been given a chance to re-evaluate his life and his career and his goals. I think it will be mentally and spiritually good for him. That's not to say that I'm glad he got hurt - only that we must look on the bright side, and I think that as bad as it is that he's hurt, I think it also brings good with it. I'm really sorry to know he's hurt, and I wish him a speedy recovery. I hope he can one day play guitar again. To all of you who are bitching and griping because you no longer have Megadeth, shame on you... the MORE important thing here is Dave's health. 'Deth's music for you is by far less important. But, yes, I am also sad I won't hear any new 'Deth stuff, it's a shame.

What else? It's been a very busy month. I haven't had much time for myself. I spent the entire of last week getting 1-3 hours of sleep each night because I was up studying. I had a physics midterm on Wednesday that was really hard and I had to do well on. I didn't do well on the first midterm even though I studied my ass off, so this one was crucial. I think I did OK, but I'll find out on Tuesday. Then on Wednesday night when I wanted to party because I was over I had to stay up all night because I had an EE lab due the next day, EE homework due the next day, and a CS quiz the next day. So this weekend I'm working all weekend doing all the homework that was due Mon. - Wed. that I didn't do because I was studying for physics.

Other than school work has kept me very busy, and I also have a few side projects that have been surprisingly demanding recently. I can't wait for this semester to be over so that I can work 40 hours a week and not have homework - get some time to myself.

Oh yeah, I had computer problems for the first time in a long time. Microsoft released a patch on March 28 that was supposed to fix a security hole but instead fucked up a lot of computers around the world. Took most of the night to get my computer back to a workable state, and several hours the next day finishing up. See my post on Bugtraq for more information. Stupid fucking Microsoft.

I think that's about it. Lots of movies and quotes in my Vibe List for the month... Catch you all in May.

Phil
