...I'm your pain when you can't feel...

The year 2000 gone by already. Damn. Interestingly enough, we had some Y2K+1 bugs. We had some software that had no problem handling the year 2000, but choked on 2001. Before I move onto the "yearly" thing, lemme start off with the "monthly" thing.

December was hard. Finals sucked, and in general it was a very, very stressful month. The holidays were very different than I imagined. I had a lot more I was supposed to do when I got home, it was more a fulfillment of responsibilities instead of a sleep late and lounge my ass off break that I expected. But that's ok, there were things that needed to be done. My girlfriend acompanied me home to Miami and stayed for about half of the break, and it was nice to have her around. It was good to see the old friends and the old life. But it's really good to be back at home. I've started classes for the new semester and I like them. Most of my professors seem nice and the classes seem a lot more meaningful and enjoyable than last semester.

I can't believe it's already been a year since Detroit. Shit. Since then I've graduated high school, moved, aquired a job, completed my first semester in college (with a 2.92), aquired a girlfriend, kept her for four months, and still managed to stay in touch with my good friends. Wow.

Well anyway, unfortunately things haven't moved with the Catalog/Discography thing I keep telling you about. But it's not my fault!! Dave's had some problems with his computer and therefore has been unable to finish the part he was working. Coincidentally enough, my server (which I'll need to test the next version when Dave gets it to me) just crashed. It needs some new RAM, hopefully I'll have it up in the next few days in plenty of time for testing. I give up on deadlines though.
Well, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, and terrific new years, and GO POST ON THE MESSAGE BOARDS! =).

Phil
