I couldn't wait for this concert, considering that Metallica is my favorite band, and has been for a while. As we got there, it was snowing very heavily, and the fans were getting anxious, everyone wanted to get the fuck in! Finally, they let us in. I rushed in, and got tomy seat (unfortuanatly, i wasn't able to get floor). The opening band, Korn, which i truly hate, came on and said very little to the crowd (showing what poor stage presence they have), and just rushed through their set (which was good!). Finally, the moment of truth. I rememberthat before the concert started, i walked in the arena, and it was only half full. This kind of disturbed me, because i thought why aren't there more people here, it's metallica! But when the lights came back on after Korn's set, i looked around and there was hardly an emptyseat! Everybody skipped Korn, and came for Metallica! Anyway, back to the concert. They rocked. That simple. They played at least 20 something songs, and all were awesome. This was a concert i will never forget (along with Black Sabbath on New Years Eve '98, but that is adifferent story), and if you ever get the chance to see metallica live, do it, you won't regret it.
