All of the petitions and campaigns (which we previously reported on) to get a show in Christchurch, New Zealand have paid off! Metallica has scheduled a show at the CBS Canterbury Arena on September 22. Unfortunately, the venue is too small for the Death Magnetic in-the-round stage, so it'll be a club-style gig. Tickets go on sale July 15th at 9:00am, MyTKT pre-sale starts July 13, and MetClub pre-sale starts on July 9.
